Charge - Now Available on DVD

CHARGE
A FILM BY MARK NEALE THE DIRECTOR OF FASTER
NARRATED BY EWAN McGREGOR

CHARGE is proof that maniacs on motorcycles can be a force for global good.

The movie follows several teams to the world's first zero-emissions grand prix in 2009, and on their return in 2010. For the visionaries, it's history. For the petrol-heads, it's blasphemy. What's racing without the sound and fury of internal combustion engines?

Among the electric racers are two American teams vying not only to win the first zero-emissions grand prix, but also to be the first all-American competitors, with an American-built motorcycle and an American rider, to win a TT since racing began on the Isle of Man in 1907.

Two Brothers Joins The Café Racer Scene

My two good mates Mr. Van [Yamaha] & Mr. Assarsson [Moto Guzzi] has recently acquired there motorcycle licenses, and has purchased some cool donor bike that will be re-build Café Racers, ready for next years motorcycle season.

Please welcome two new Café Racer Brothers.

MotoGP Martial Arts: Stoner Vs. De Puniet

It seem like the feisty Casey Stoner can't make any friends at the padocks this seasson? First the aussie was forced off track by Valentino Rossi at the Spanish Grand Prix, and this week at the Le Mans track it was Randy de Puniet who was a hurdle!

The incident happened as Randy de Puniet and Álvaro Bautista had slowed on the racing line, with Stoner rapidly approaching. With de Puniet looking back over his shoulder, the French rider seemingly moved to get out of the way of Stoner, who was on the inside of the two riders. However Randy de Puniet moved, and blocked Casey’s line, as he tried to make his pass over the slower duo.
Noticeably upset about having to slow down and being blocked on his fast lap, Stoner punched de Puniet on the shoulder. Stoner also exchanging other gestures of unsportsmanlike nature, as he seconds later passed the two riders.

Race Direction later fined Stoner €5,000 for turning MotoGP into an arena of martial arts.

Historic Racing - A Kind Of Passion

I am really passionate about historic racing from the 1950s to late 1970s, and this small film ”A kind of a passion” really makes me long for the historic races her in Denmark at Ring Djursland on the 20-21st August this year. More background info on that event later…

The Front End Is Back On The Bike

Finally my last parts arrived, and after an evening of work the front end is back together and back on the old CB750. The raw metal finish really stands out, and it will make a nice contrast to the paintjob.

The tank and seat is ready to be picked up from the painter, and I will hopefully have time to put everything together over the weekend.

Stay tuned for more Rock N Roll!!!

CHARGE – Zero Emission/Maximum Speed

With the Isle of Man race at the end of May I would like to make a sneak peak at one of my favourite classes, the TTXGP . It may not be the fastest in the world, but maybe one of the coolest and most innovative.
With Brammo’s streetbike coming on the marked next year, and Mission Motors making a pure electric superbike, it is hard not to accept the fact that electric motorcycles is a way of the future.

And the Ewan McGregor voice over is a nice feature to…

This Weeks Cling On Girls...

The CB750 Dragster

Here's an application you may not have seen before! I don't recall seeing anything like this myself. This is a dragster, one of three, built in California by Triple A Accessories, a company that used to make parts and accessories for Honda CB750s and other motorcycles. The body is aluminum, the engine is from a 1971 CB750.
I have no idea what class these ran in, what times they turned or anything else. If you have any information on this beast, please let me know....
