1971 CR750 Replica on Ebay

This cool CR750 replica was finished in early 2010, and has been on display at the Vintage Days at Barber Motorsports Park.

The engine has been modified with CR type profile camshaft, Performance Cycle connecting rods, lightened crank, and lighten engine case… And of cause there has been fitted a set of 31 mm Keihin carbs.
The electrical system has also been updated with a dry lightweight charging system and Dyna ignitions.
The mean looking exhausted system was completed by Swarbrick Racing Competition Exhaust Systems in England.

The suspension has been upgraded with progressive shocks in the rear, and Race Tech fork springs in the front. The faring, seat and tank is from Air Tech, and the oil tank is custom made in aluminium.

The seat and tank was send to the painter yesterday...

Here is a sneak peak of how it will eventually look in 2-3 weeks from now. The color is still a secret folks, so you will just have to wait for the finished result.... But one thing is for sure, it will be as cool as a Danish winther...

The Honda CR 750 M3 Factory Racer

Hmm…. It seems like all the super cool CB/CR750 ends up in the Dubai desert these days…?

First the Wrench Monkees Gorilla Punch is bourght by some nightclub owner and put on display in a bar in Dubai, and now the celebrated Honda CR 750 M3 Factory Racer is living a new life close to the Dubai Autodrome.

The bike was constructed during the winter of 1996-1997 by Mark McGrew and the M3 crew, at the M3 Racing factory in Northern Minnesota. Mr Eric Charles recently bought the mind blowing CR750, and put it in his collection of historically relevant classic racers. Lucky guy…

This bike has start in such magazines as: Cycle World, Motorcyclist, Classic Bike UK, Cycle News, Classic Racer UK, AMA Magazine, and Mick Duckworths book "Honda CB750". So there is no doubt that this is a real star of the CR750s!

Thanks to the dab hand of French Legend Gilles Chauve the carbs has been given a thorough going over so the bike is now a 100% race ready again.

Rossi Takes Off Stoner In Jerez Race

Casey Stoner was taken off track by Valentino Rossi at the Spanish Grand Prix this Sunday after just seven laps of the race.

"We made a good start to the race and the bike felt good for the first few laps, then the tyres seemed to move a little so we tried to conserve them in case it rained again," Stoner commented. "I really wanted the chance to fight the Spanish riders here in a dry race, so it was disappointing for me that that it was wet.

"However, we were competitive here in the wet and dry and this is very important for us - at a track that hasn't been that great for me in the past. After so much hard work I hate to have a race like this because the team did a great job all weekend and now we go home empty handed."

Stoner also hit out at the track marshalls, as he was extremely upset by the lack of help when his Honda RC212V was stuck in the gravel.

"With the accident, I heard Valentino arriving and I wasn't worried about anyone passing me at that point in the race so I gave him plenty of room. It was a racing incident and there's not much we can do, what is more frustrating is the reaction of the stewards and their assistance for Valentino and not for me, it was unbelievable.

"I want to just get to the next race now in Estoril, where I'm sure we can be competitive again."

Honda Heads First Practice At Jerez

World Championship leader Casey Stoner continued to lead the way at the Spanish Grand Prix this Friday. The Australian topped the timesheets from injured Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa as Valentino Rossi managed a promising third place for Ducati.

In the top 10 positions was as many as 4 Honda riders, in 1 ^st,2 ^nd,4 ^th & 6^th position. Go Honda!!!

Jerez marks the start of the European season for MotoGP, with Honda continuing where they left off in Qatar two weeks ago.

However, it has since then been confirmed that Pedrosa is in need of another operation next week - but will race this weekend. The Spaniard has been diagnosed with intermittent compression of the subclavian artery, resulting in numbness and a general lack of strength in the left arm. The operation will follow earlier surgery for the Barcelona man in October of last year, which settled a double fracture of the left collarbone following his crash in Japan.

Despite his injury Pedrosa was just 28 thousandths of a second slower than Stoner’s best!!! Wow? Cling on man!!! And good luck with the surgery…

Valentino Rossi is also suffering from previous injuries, and admits that his shoulder continues to cause distress. Qatar, with its many hard corners where the riders brake to the right, has been difficult for Rossi’s shoulder, but hopefully Jerez will be a little easier on everybody. Even though Rossi finished in an honourable third position in the first practice at Jerez, Ducati don’t see Jerez as being the most favourable track from a technical point of view.

Let us hope for a cool race this Sunday!

The New Wrenchmonkee CB750

The Wrenchmonkees have done it again!!! A new CB750 is on the road…

If you are not deaf dumb and blind, you have probably already seen the iconic Monkee #11 bike (aka Gorilla Punch), on every single café racer blog on the web! But Gorilla Punch is only one of the many CB750 monkee bikes coming out of the workshop at Uplandsgade here in Copenhagen! The Club Black #1 bike was also a super cool, all black, exercise of style that looked like it was doing a ton standing still!!!

Now there is a new CB750 on the road, and this time the Monkees has gone for a more subdued design expression. This is a bike for the road, a 8000+ Km/year bike that will not break your bag in the process… Even though the stock look is striking, the chopped fenders, Firestone tires, and longer and lower seat make a big difference when you look at it.

The only oops (To me! You might think differently?) on this bike is that the black and white paint job should have been reversed. I for one think this bike is too white…

But what a cool bike it is! Some bloke will have shit loads of good clean fun on this bike! And I can’t blame him… Happy riding!
